Pitru Yagna

Not simply a ritual. It's an act of gratitude, responsibility, and legacy.

What is Pitru Yagna?

Pitru Yagna is a sacred Vedic ritual performed to honour one’s ancestors and seek their blessings. It is one of the most important duties described in the Vedic tradition, recognising the profound connection between family lineage, spiritual continuity, and present wellbeing.

What value does this offer to my family?

Participation provides both spiritual and experiential value:

•    Invocation of ancestral blessings for long-term wellbeing

•    Alignment of family life with Vedic principles of harmony and balance

•    A private, guided experience rooted in authentic tradition

•    An opportunity to involve the next generation in a living cultural heritage

•    A sense of fulfilment through meaningful, purposeful participation

How is the Pitru Yagna positioned within the Soma Yagna?

The Pitru Yagna is conducted in a dedicated, quiet, ceremonial space, approximately 75 metres from the main Soma Yagna Kund. This ensures:

•    A private and focused environment for your family

•    Full adherence to traditional Vedic practice

•    A unique opportunity to participate in both ancestral (Pitru Yagna) and cosmic (Soma Yagna) dimensions within the same event setting

What does the ceremony include?

Each Pitru Yagna is conducted by experienced Vedic priests and includes:

•    Personalised Sankalp (intention) in your family’s name

•    Tarpan (water offerings) and Pind Daan

•    Nav Graha Shanti for planetary harmony

•    Continuous Vedic mantra recitation

•    Final blessings for your family’s wellbeing and prosperity

All materials and arrangements are prepared to a high standard of ritual authenticity and presentation.

Is this a private or shared experience?

Each family will have their own kund ensuring a personalised and respectful experience while maintaining the sanctity and flow of the overall event.

We plan to conduct seven yagna's simultaneously, each lasting around 40 minutes.

Why is this considered a rare opportunity?

•    A thoughtfully curated environment in London making it a truly unique and distinguished spiritual experience.
